Sorry for such a looooong heading, I decided to catogorize my craft posts by supplies needed.
Without further ado, here are my two most recent Makie doll crafts. They're both made using the supplies listed above, and about 20-40 minutes of time each.
First is my doll yard swing. It still could use a bit of work, but here's the basics of it.
It has duct tape on the back, and colored construction paper on the front. I chose for Evie's color theme to be blue, green, and purple with wacky colors here and there. This swing stays true to this.
It has a pretty basic triangular frame made of popsicle sticks held together by hot glue.
My favorite part about it is the elastic seatbelt. I hot glued it to the back, making sure that it wasn't too tight and that I could fit a Monster High under it easily.
My only problem with it is that it hits the ground. I think that I am going to brace it somehow before I get Evie.
Next is the coffee table. I added a LOT of wacky colors to this.
It has purple popsicle legs attatched with hot glue. One of my complaints is that one of the legs is totally crocked and barely touches the ground.
For the top, I covered cut paper board with duct tape. I thought that this elephant print would complement her silly house nicely.
