Ky and I have been super excited about Christmas. She decorated the dollhouse already! I will post pictures soon. But for now, I changed the blog background. What do you think? Is it easy to read?

Kyler got a Faceup! I added eyelashes, colored her lips, eyes, and eyebrows, and re-positioned her eyes. What do you think? Here is a side view. Her eyes look green in this picture, but they aren't. This is the one and only Kyler Titania review. It contains my honest opinions on the product that I recieved from Makie Labs. It will be done in parts, as I personally do not have the time to spend three hours on one single post. This section of the review is only the face. First, I am going to compare her face to the online one. In my opinion, she is very close in the nose, and her mouth is just slightly thinner, but her eyes are rather off. Her eyes in the online one are far more straight than the actual one. And, her skin is way lighter, but I knew that and am happy with her skin tone. Here is the photo comparison. Next is her face-up that she came with. I am planning on adding to this face-up, but for review purposes, this is the one that I will be talking about. Her lips are very light, and you can barely see them. Her eyebrows are practically the same way. It seems as if someone put on an undercoat, but never finished it. It is somewhat disappointing, as I didn't want to have to do a face-up on her. Now for her eyes, besides being super slanted, they amaze me. The detail is beautiful, and the color is fantastic. My only complaint is that there is a very small white dot on her left eye that will not come off. This dot is barely noticeable, so I won't complain Her lips are nice. I wish there was more color, but I will fix that. They are less smiley than I wanted, but it works. Last is her nose. It Is perfect for what I wanted. I personally love the little button nose, though I can imagine that boys would be better with wider noses. I am so happy with this sweet nose. The coloration matches a human's without a face up, and this is definitely my favorite one of her features. I took some amazing photos of Kyler in the city today, and I want to share them with you. I took so many that you should expect multiple posts to fit them all. The first is her right after I took her out of the bag that I took her in. She has a tiny bit of a bed-head... Fixing it a little... Good enough! Kyler Titania! Look what I got today! Opening her up... She is absolutely wonderful, but has a couple of defects. One serious one is her clothes. That is why I changed her outfit for the next couple of photos. This one is tea time! Hi there! I am so happy with her and will be giving an in-depth review of her soon along with many more pictures! For now, this is Kyler Titania. Here is my second craft update. Unfortunately, my last two crafts were destroyed, but I have these to show you. I will give a tutorial on the book later. It is Harry Potter book, the very first. I am so much in love with the Harry Potter series that this was the first craft that I made for Kyler once I ordered her. I made it with a printable, but it didn't print very clearly, so I wrote 'Harry Potter' on top of where it was printed. It has paperboard inside, and I sealed it for extra strength. Overall, this project took me about 15 minutes.Next is the duct tape backpack I made for Kyler yesterday. This is the front. The duct tape was all the same type, so you can't really tell that there is a flap when it is down. But when it is open, you can see the closure part and the shape of it. I didn't make it the exact size of the top, but a little smaller. I like the way it looks better, and then it is far easier to make. This is the straps and the flap from the back. The straps aren't even in width, but are in height. They fit my Ever After High doll, Raven Queen, but if they need adjustments for Kyler, it is very easily done. It fits both Kyler's book and the next craft, her folder, inside it, and closes. This project took a lot of trial and error, so this project took me about 35-40 minutes. Now for the folder. The folder is blue and says 'Biology'. It has two pockets inside, which can see from a glance in this photo. Here are the pockets. It has a paper in it that I made from a printable. There isn't much to this project, and it only took me five minutes. I am having severe issues containing my excitement. I have been crafting like crazy, throwing out most of my projects because have been fails. Before Kyler comes, I will show you all of the crafts that I have for her. Today, I fully dove into to Makie. Today, I bought Kyler Titanina. My order is in, and here is the online picture. She is so amazing and I am so excited! I can't wait for her to come. I have been doing some name research and decided on a name, and then created a personality. Her name is Kyler Titania, and her nickname is Kylie. I thought that this name is magical and light-hearted, but could also be serious if it needed to be. Here is a quick summary of her story. I will give a full story about her later.
So what do you think? Any suggestions? I may have been absent from this blog for a while, but I am back with some exciting news. Here is my update on my Makie.
Once I get this figured out, my Makie will be making her debut. |
